Optional “First Steps” Introductory Course
We’ve received a lot of requests from folks who are new to the industry, asking if we could spend more time with them during the Exposed Firearms Permit course and do a short course on the basics and fundamentals. After testing this in 2025, beginning in 2026, we will be offering just that! New BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit applicants can now come in early and spend quality time with an instructor and learn the basics from how to load a magazine, to the grip, stance and trigger pull fundamentals. While you won’t leave this short session ready to join your local SWAT team, it should improve a person’s ability to be successful in the BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit course. Please inquire about this course’s availability when registering.
